The Russians are coming (not). Part 2 My response to "Time" issue.

„Die Zeit“-Autor Christoph Bertram stellt fest: „Russland macht it difficult to find international partners, a normal relationship with him. "Sure, who else

In the recent past, Moscow can see enough examples of this. In the euphoria of the wall opening was the promise containing the same password.

In Part 1 this little "The Russians are Coming" series I have already given some arguments for it. The clever minds in Brussels know better than I determined that this step would bring practical benefits only for Europe itself - not only mentioned in "pragmatic" terms, which Mr. Bertram, but also in political, ideological and propaganda. Apparently these are intelligent people hesitate just to sell that decision to the highest possible price in Moscow.
And when they ask you - "with Russia - but how"
The popular free newspaper "Metro" in the Moscow subway every morning is read by several million passengers carried in the edition of 17 July the headline: "The Germans are willing to let the Russians enter without a visa in Europe."
attacked stunned to me. Sure, the title proved to be a bluff. It was just a question that Russia's Deputy Prime Minister (and ex-Prime Minister) Viktor Zubkov at the recent Russian-German summit in Munich, presented a proposal to that effect. A few hundred thousand other subway passengers who only read the title and they have noticed to be even today still think that it's really true.
Well at least that is spoken of this simple but very effective option still. And at the highest level.

Guess: How many Russians and Russians have a passport? In other words, what proportion of the Russian people attended (in) regularly to other countries?
Now you will think the same: The Russians really come in masses. Russian can be heard almost constantly and everywhere, you may think. Mein Kollege N. hasst Amerika wie die Pest. Einfach so. Gab es in seinem persönlichen Leben Gründe für dieses intensive Gefühl, so denkt er längst nicht mehr an diese zurück. Inzwischen hasst er Amerika rein reflektorisch. „Ich kann nichts dafür“, gesteht mein (ansonsten durchaus intelligenter und weltoffener) Kollege.
Der Antiamerikanismus vereint Millionen und Millionen von Menschen weltweit. Arme und reiche. Mit und ohne persönlichen Grund. Es gibt kein Land auf der Erde – jedenfalls nach der Zerschlagung des faschistischen Deutschland – das heute stärkere negative Gefühle auslösen würde. Weltweit.
Paradoxerweise reflektieren die Amerikaner even quite little about this global phenomenon. They are simply far too fixated on their own. (One more reason to hate America?) I remember a TV report on 11 September 2001: An American who was able to escape at the last moment from the collapsing World Trade Center shouted, horrified at the camera: "Why" She seemed absolutely real to not understand that you can hate their country so selflessly.
Such a rich selection of T-shirts with anti-American and anti-Bush drawings in London, I've seen nowhere else in Europe. In London!
Since I'm just not an American, I see enough responses to the "Why?" Of these unsuspecting American from the TV report. Vietnamese, Iraqis, Chileans, Mexicans, Arabs, Japanese, but also Russians, French, German and English - representatives of all nations would come up quite a number of immediate responses.
bother me but the obvious anti-Americanism. What bothers me is the indiscriminate condemnation of America. I am particularly disturbed but the anti-American professionals.
Layer: For a believer, God is self-evident. Just as Satan. This is of course evil and omnipresent. Therefore, one can also write to him about everything. For the "anti-American professionals" that's their bread.
In Russian Wikipedia I read in the "anti-Americanism": "In many cases, the negative attitude towards politics and culture of the United States is not a spontaneous expression of public sentiment, but it is artificially propagated by authoritarian states to divert attention from internal problems.
