Where Do You Groom Pokemon

Directors' Blog # 1

Big hello to you, guys!

Welcome to the first issue of our official "Directors' Blog" for "Dark Moon Fairy Tales." Before starting off with today's topic, I'd like to introduce myself: My name is Maciej also known as Moonfarrier FX (or MFX in short). But within the team I’m simply called Matti. I’m a little big part of the Dark Moon production staff and besides graphical works such as print and online media, every take that will end up on the screen is going through my hands first.

But this is going to be our subject in one of the upcoming entries. Today it’s all about the the production kick-off, which was kind of celebrated with a new photo shooting on this year’s Whitsun weekend. The reason was the creation of the film posters that should be used at miscellaneous conventions all across Germany next year. For me is the beginning of the creative and possibly more exhausting work after a long time of preproduction.

All actresses of the Sailor Senshi were present at this eleven hours lasting shooting. And I have to admit that the photos turned out to be absolutely awesome. There are some beautiful shots of each girl. It’s going to be a tough choice for me. Following you’ll find some impression that Katharina and I took during the shooting. Sadly, we were both stressed out by the job quite a bit, so we couldn’t take any more. But the pictures show very clearly that we were all having a fun time.

I enjoyed the work at this shooting a lot and I am looking forward to the production in the upcoming months. This is not due to the technical equipment at the studio in Witten only. The big success can be taken up by everyone involved and I’d like to thank each person for his or her hard work and the great atmosphere. Meaning: Attention, please! We’re proceeding in alphabetical order^^

CAST
Claudia: Smooth workflow provided by your organisation (and the photos are good even^^)
Daniela: Sexy Sailor Mars – Could these eyes be untrue?
Denise: Much fun, very friendly and an outstanding Sailor Pluto. An animated .gif is coming soon.
Farina: At least as sharp as the blade of her sword even with her finger trembling! That’s what I call ambition!
Iris: Sex in turquoise (it’s as simple as that)
Jess M.: Huge compliment here: Great posing, great photos. A very easy shot.
Jessy: Pink just suits you best^^
Kathrin: Our Saturn-Diva. Would be nice to see you more often.
Melanie: No-one can write his or her name with oil as lovely as you do.
Melissa: Karate girl! Great job – especially in these boots!
Nat: What can I say? Psycho eyes! Great.

CREW
Adriano & Katharina: Couldn’t have done the job without your hard work. No wonder the two of you ended up completely exhausted. Many thanks to both of you!
Christoph & Daniel: Thanks for your work, the creative cooperation and your stamina, too. Again at anytime!
Sebastian: Last, but not least thanks for your commitment, driving the girls all day and the great entertainment. And stop calling my kid, kid!

What's up next? After all the photos have been sighted (and there are at least 800 of them), we select the motives that will make it onto the posters. This means a lot of Photoshop and many sleepless nights for me, but it'll be worth it. The final result shall be ten posters in DIN A0 format. As soon as the first poster is ready, I'll post a demonstration. Until then, you can get a first glimpse at what the poster might look like. The following picture shows one of my scribbles that is used as some sort of mood for the pictures.

You see, the production is finally in full activity and going ahead. That's why Katharina will take over for the next issue of the »Directors' Blog«. She will grant you a look on the first days of shooting.

Best regards from Hamburg,
Maciej

A warm Hello to all!

Welcome to the first edition of "" directors blog "Dark Moon Fairy Tales," the first film in the Dilogie. Before we delve into today's theme, first few words about myself: My name is Maciej or the artist known as Moonfarrier FX, MFX shortly. In the team I'm only as Matti known. I'm with DM a little large part of the production team. In addition to graphic work for print and online, is just about every take, is to end up in the film through my hands.

This will also be the subject of a later entry. Today is about starting the production phase, which we most have ushered in this year's Whit weekend with a new photo shoot. The occasion was the design of posters for the film, which will be used next year at various conventions. starts for me after the long pre-production of creative and maybe a bit more labor intensive Part

For nearly 11-hour marathon shooting the actresses of the Sailor Senshi have lined up. And I must say that the photos have become really hammer. From each a couple of beautiful shots are about to make my choice very hard. Here are some impressions that Catherine and I were able to make during the shoot. Unfortunately, we were both really busy, so little time remained for more. But the images do show that we all had on that day of great fun.

I, for my part, I very much enjoyed working on the shoot and am looking forward to the months ahead we have. This was not only based on the art in the studio Wittner. The success of each of the parties can write to the flag and I would again like to thank everyone for their hard work and good mood. So: Listen up! We go in alphabetical order, ^ ^

CAST
Claudia: Smooth process, thanks to great organization (and the photos have even become what ^ ^)
Daniela: Sexy Sailor Mars - these eyes lie?
Denise Very fun, friendly and excellent Pluto. The animated. Gif will follow soon!
Farina: least as sharp as the blade of her sword, despite a shaky finger. I call that ambition!
Iris: Sex in turquoise (simple as It Gets)
Jess M. Here's a real compliment: Posing super, super photos. A very complicated shoot.
Jessy: Pink You might also simply the best ^ ^
Kathy: Our Saturn diva. No one can
his name so beautifully in / write with fat as you Melissa:: Would be nice to see you more often
Melanie The Karate Girl! Great - and on the shoes!
Nat: What can I say? Psycho-view? Great.

CREW
Adriano and Catherine: Without your work I would not attempt it! It was clear that you are at some point simply was only at the end. Thank you both!
Christopher and Daniel Thanks for the work, the creative collaboration and your stamina. Always happy!
Sebastian: Thank you for using the collection and delivery service for the girls and the great Keep the fun! And stop calling me boy, boy. Must otherwise perform well once my new fist dance!

How are you now? After all the photos (and there are still almost 800 pieces) have been sighted, a narrower choice of subject is made, it will ultimately make to the post. This means a lot to me specifically Photoshop and many sleepless nights, but the work will be worth it. The end result will be ten posters in A0. If the first is really finished, there are of course study material. Until then, you can but you make a rough picture of the poster, the following picture shows that is one of my scribbles that serve as a template or mood for the final poster.

You see, it is progressing rapidly and the production is finally on full swing. Therefore, Catherine declares in the next edition of the "Directors 'Blog' then with a report from the first days of shooting to speak.

loving greetings from the cold North, Maciej
